The Secrets of My Spectrum

I wrote The Secrets of My Spectrum when I was 16 to share what it's really like to live with autism from the inside out. So often, autism is described by people looking in from the outside, but this is my chance to show you the world as I see it. It's a journey through my life, from my earliest memories of trying to fit in to figuring out how to make sense of the world and the small victories that keep me going.

This book is for anyone who wants to better understand autism, whether you're on the spectrum yourself, have a loved one who is, or wish to learn more. The Secrets of My Spectrum is here to help people see autism as part of who we are, not just a label. I hope that it brings comfort, a few laughs, and, most of all, understanding.

It's my story, but it's also the story of so many others. I want people to know it's perfectly okay to be different and that there's strength in embracing who you are. I really hope you'll find it helpful. I've included notes pages at the end of each chapter so you can jot down your own reflections.
